Just earlier in the day I applied the Evenly Radiant Brightening Cleanser, Night Crème, and Eye Crème and the Microdermabrasion Scrub. In the morning my mom and I popped over to Woodstock to check out the skincare presentation at Sunflower for Derma e skincare. It’s a natural and botanical line of skincare products, thar I actually sampled the Hydrating Mist containing Hyaluronic Acid from an earlier Birchbox a few months prior.
First, I dabbed some of the gel-based brightening cleanser onto my skin and then removed the cleanser with a muslin cloth. I then applied the scrub gently onto sections of my skin in a circular motion to massage into the surface and exfoliate the skin. Only for a minute or so before briskly cleansing off the scrub, as it produced a sensation upon contact with my skin. I suggest placing this scrub onto a Clarisonic to enhance the exfoliating effects and to remove the dead skin cells. To my surprise, when I put on the night cream it actually barely absorbed and I just took off the excess with a damp towel and then dabbed eye cream to the entire eye area above and below my eyelids. Of these products, I enjoyed the scrub the most even with its tingling effects and of course the mist from the earlier sample.
A skincare representative for the line showed me the hydrating line, the anti-aging line, and also the body care line on display. She suggested the hydrating line for my skin type, and passed me quite a few samples of each of the product types, a Hydrating Cleanser, Refining Vitamin A and Glycolic Cleanser, and a Hydrating Day Creme. From the body care, a Vitamin E 12,000 IU Crème and a Skin, Hair, and Nail Oil with argan, jojoba, and kukui nut oils 🙂
