Nail salon and nail polish developer, Ten/Ten with locations in Midtown, SoHo, and Uptown collaborated with J.Crew on a resort nail polish collection. Featuring colors like an opaque soft lilac, Prince St. and a peppy coral Spring St., named after streets in Manhattan, the salon provided complimentary manicures at the J. Crew flagship on Fifth Avenue.
For my own manicure, I selected the lovely Prince St., named after the Prince Street located in lower Manhattan close to one of the nail salon locations on Houston. A manicurist first prepped my nails with a filing cube, and then applied a base coat from the house line, the Foundation ($18.00), followed by two coats of Prince and then a clear top coat of the Shield ($18.00) and quick-dry drops.
Prince St. nail polish ($8.00) found at the J.Crew stores or on jcrew.com, suits a variety of ages from youthful to sophisticated and can be worn throughout the year. Even with the pastel colors embracing the Spring color palette, the color provides subtle sophistication and actually resembles the signature color for Bergdorf Goodman.
