Remember, remember, November. Back in the second week of November, Kendra Scott flew into town for a personal appearance, to celebrate the grand opening of Kendra Scott, found on the third level of the 900 North Michigan Shops.
This store sells pre-made jewelry at a competitive price point and also offers a custom jewelry section, the Color Bar for experiencing new stone and metal combinations. I took home a Color Bar gift card and went back to create my own necklace, care of Boldface Chicago.
I selected a rose gold metal for the choker necklace, with a pewter stone, and people seem to think it’s not even from Kendra Scott, that it looks more expensive.
Needless to say, it’s my own color preferences and combination.
During the opening, guests enjoyed champagne and concoctions, custom water bottles, cupcakes, hor d’oeuvres; and I don’t even remember these leafy greens to be quite honest. I bumped into fellow bloggers, all looking super cute as always.
Debi Lily provided the floral arrangements for the opening, suited to the bright yellow theme of the space, where guests took photos with Kendra, and influencers conducted interviews. I left before the chance to interview, but you can view The Kendra Scott Interview with Big City Blonde.
From my exposure to this brand, it rests on the concepts of: family, fashion, and philanthropy, striving to give back to the community.
Thank you so much to Kendra Scott and Boldface Chicago, for the invitation and hosting this lovely gathering, for detailed coverage on Oak Lovely Beauty.
